White Tea

This tea specialty originated from the mountainous regions of the Fujian province in China. However white tea is now also grown in other regions such as Darjeeling and Nepal. Only the youngest and finest tea leaves are used to produce this superb specialty since they are the only leaves that have tender hairs on the underside which turn into silvery-white fluff when dried. These special leaves are carefully handpicked and gently processed-they are simply wilted and dried, never heated or rolled.

    "Buddhas Tears"

    This classic white tea has a strong aromatic jasmine flavour. Hand rolled the two leaves and a bud unfurl to release their heavenly fragrance.

    Brewing tips
    1 heaped teaspoon per cup into a teapot allowing room for the buds to unfurl. Add hot water at 80degC -brew 2-3 minutes only.
